Hands down the worst experience ever. Wanted a new, larger dishwasher to replace the slimline one that we have. Phoned up, paid, engineers brought the machine round and attempted to fit it. They then found there was a space issue and the new machine would not fit in the available space. There was no measurements taken first to ensure correct fitment. There was also everything from the cupboard where the dishwasher is plumbed in dumped all over the side along with two soaking wet towels dumped in the washing up bowl that now stink of stagnant water. I phoned the office and was greeted by the single rudest person I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I complained about the experience and he said it was our fault because WE said the dishwasher would fit and now they have an unpackaged machine. Clearly it’s not their lack of professionalism in not taking appropriate measurements and steps to ensure these machines will fit first before getting them out and putting them in that’s the problem. My advice is to stick with bigger firms like Curry’s etc who know how to treat people and avoid this small and clearly failing company at ALL costs.

Requested a visit to obtain a quotation to replace a cooker hood. Representative called, took details and left ”To prepare quotation”. 10 days later having heard nothing I rang and requested the quotation. 4 days later (31st August) having heard nothing I emailed, received an apology and was told “I will check this again Monday for you, the fitter was requested to call you last week, obviously nobody did”. 16th September cooker hood is about to be replaced by another company but still heard nothing from Anglian Electrics. NB One star given only to make it possible to post the review.
Excellent service ,very polite and helpful. I was recommended this company by a engineer who I had called out to fix my dishwasher, unfortunately it wasn't fixable. I ordered a new one from Anglian Electrics which worked out much cheaper than the same one I saw online. They even came out before and checked it would fit before I ordered it. They made an extremely good job of fitting the new integrated machine, and showed me how to use it. The fitting and removal service was also less than charged on line. My tumble dryer has since packed up and the very nice guys came out see if it could be fixed, but it wasn't cost effective, so I have ordered a new one, so they have not charged me for the call out, again such a great service.
