We stopped there for some lunch withouth booking and we had a great time. The staff were friendly and informative. I completely forgot to take photos of the starters but we had some lightly deep fried green beans (tempura style) and some padron peppers. Both of them were delicious and the green beans can with two different mayonnaise, a spicy one and a peto one. For mains, we both went with the mussels, served in garlic cutter that we ate with some cripsy french fries. We enjoyed a crisp Dao wine that ressembled a Chardonnay. We loved it and would go again. But make sure to book because it is a busy spot praised by locals and tourists alike!

Busy at the weekend. Good food but not so friendly staff. The grilled Garoupa was good, but with plain vegetables. Tuna steak was a bit salty.

If you are coming to the area be sure to reserve a table in advance as it can get very busy during lunch hours. Foods otherwise good and served in a relaxing atmosphere.

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to eat after visiting Azenhas do Mar, try out Água e Sal. I personally had a lovely evening at Água e Sal. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were good at speaking English and knowledgeable about the menu. All of the dishes that we ordered were fantastic (shrimp cream soup, Russian salad, tuna steak and creme brulee). The food is well priced and definitely worth it in my opinion.
