The waitress tried to trick us into giving her a higher tip than we wanted - we wanted to leave 50 euros for a price of 46.5, but she typed 55 instead, and then deviated the conversation into a different direction during payment. Also forgot to bring the bread.

My spouses salmon was ok, the veggies though where steamed and completely cold. My codfish however tasted funny and was not suitable for consumption at all. Choose any other place in the area. It can only get better.

First and last time at this restaurant. On 26.01.2020, me and a couple of friends of mine went for lunch at this place and requested 2 doses of bean stew cuttlefish. On delevry only 1 dose was poorly served. As we were still hungry we ordered 1 more dose of fish stew that took 30 minutes to be delivered to our table and that was extremely salted when served. After finishing we waited for 1 hour and 5 minutes for them to bring us the dessert list. Obviously by then me and my friends were getting very upset with this poor service. We got up from our table straight to the counter and requested our bill that took another 15 minutes to be presented. We manifested our discontent with the owner and for our surprise it was charged on the bill, 2 doses of cuttlefish when only 1 was served. Plus one half dose when only one was served. They apoligized and stated that next time they will serve us better. Not in this life! It was requested that the bill had the fiscal number on it, they pretended that didn't ear it. One more thing, the couple friend of mine have already come here before and had been served well. Not today unfortunately.

Bruno and his family take great pride in serving the best fish, at the best value, in the area. Located right on the beach, the view of the sea is stunning. Wines are very reasonably priced, and several members of the family took wonderful care of us...so much so that we came back 4 times during our 10 day stay! Thank you!

Best view on the Praia das Maças. Nice staff. Good place for beer and coffee.
