If you are looking for the perfect French fries or rice, this is not the place. A local recommended this restaurant to me. And here are full of locals eating with families and friends. I ordered barnacles for starter, shrimp omelette and passion fruit almond cake desert. All very tasty. Plus soft drinks and coffee, it costs 24. Very reasonable price at this touristy area.

Typical restaurant in Sintra area. Cozy and familiar you will get a really good meal with good appetizers and a nice fresh fish if you like it as well as other good portuguese dishes. The white wine is also great and the staff is friendly and know how to treat the customer. I have nothing negative to point. 5 *'s

Fantastic!! Azenha's cod was very good and tasty, and they have very original and delicious home-made desserts. We felt comfortable and safe with the space between clients an the service in general.

It's been over 10years since my last visit to the country and this restaurant but I still remembered this place. The food is incredible - so fresh and plentiful. The service is seamless and friendly. I cannot speak highly enough of Adega das Azenhas

Really busy place and rated well on Google, however, we had a terrible experience. Very poor service, we felt we were shoved out of the to way and ignored in the corner and the food came out raw, both my pork dish and my girlfriend's cod. The waiters just didn't seem to care. I'd advise giving this place a wide berth.

Recommended to me by Portuguese farmers who lived in the area, the restaurant has all the well known, hearty Portuguese dishes including Arroz de Pato (duck rice). We ordered this and Medalhões de porco com bacon (bacon wrapped pork medallions) with a side of fries (we craved meat, though the restaurant is known for fish). Both were so tasty we wafted it down, and with no room to spare got a Toucinho do Céu (almond cake) and another cake (think it was pumpkin) which were like bacon from heaven as the former's name suggests.

Traditional local restaurant with good vibe. Major customers are local. The salmon fillet is the best I’ve ever had and not expensive regarding the portion and quality.
