Great place to provide new experiences to kids and also grown-ups

Excellent exhibits about the human body with really cool interactive pieces. Unfortunately they are not well maintained and some are not working properly or broken. There is a really large amount of things to do though.

Interesting exhibit to see with your kids. Shame that there are some not working due to lack of maintenance. Apparently all contributions in taxes and overtaxes are not enough to keep things working... A shame.

Visiting from abroad, I'm not quite sure about all the offerings here but definitely great staff, very cool models of ancient machinery and - on top of all this - a pretty neat planetarium where you can enjoy multi media presentations. Looking good!

Brilliant place for kids, took my two daughters (5 and 7) they had a great time. The exhibits are all in Portuguese, but that didn't seem to phase them at all! Also a lovely spot near the river for a picnic lunch. Highly recommended!

Good place to bring your kids, it has some expositions with activities about science that they can explore. It offers a birthday party program great for the kids, but not so great to the parents: if for any reason you stay with your child during the party, you cannot go with them to the activities, and are then forced to stay in the meals' room with not much to do for more than one hour. I'd recommend visiting with kids, otherwise it's too simple for just adults to enjoy.

It has everything that every other 'Explorotarium' has. This one heavily focuses on the human body, and would be fun for children under 12. It does feature fake blood and some sex-related explanations, though. Tourists! There are no English translations, so get your dictionaries in advance (or use Google translate).
