Food no doubt was delicious. Service was far from spectacular. Bar was busy but slow getting drinks out and asking if there was anything I wanted. I was here 4 years ago and just doesn't seem like the same place. Food was pricey but again was good and to me was worth the price. Speed up the bar and a bit better service and this would be a top spot for sure.

This is an amazingly cool place with proper drinks, delicious food, and blues atmosphere. What a find in San Marcos! The chef knows what they're doing, and the bar tender is a pro as well. Service quick and generally impeccable. Flavor profile pretty much perfect, not greasy at all. Will definitely go back there to hang out.
Jay was such a good server! She had great suggestions and was very attentive! I got the pork chop and it was good but a little salty. The mashed potato was wonderful!! The dessert?? There was nothing left! We ate it all! I loved the Brussel sprouts, i never would have thought to add grapes, but omg!!! If ever in San Marcos shopping or just live there, i definitely recommend!
We were here for a dinner during Memorial Day weekend. We ordered the cod, cauliflower, lamb pasta, and two berry drinks. The food was vey tasty and the drink was excellent. Service was also pretty nice. I like how they used Greek yogurt on the cauliflower dish. The pasta was very flavorful and chewy. The cod was fresh and soft.
During through San Marcos and stopped at Cody’s for brunch on Sunday - SO GOOD! The duck hash was delicious and my husband’s egg sandwich put all other breakfast sandwiches to shame. They were great with accommodating requests for two picky children. My son has declared that they have the best ranch dressing ever!! And I agree. Everything is obviously cooked/created by a talented chef... including the ranch dressing that my son took to go as his souvenir. We’ll definitely be back the next time we are in the area.
