I love this place. The batter is consistently light and crispy and more importantly there is never skin on the cod. Codswallop also make incredible burgers which you might not think to try at this quality local favourite chip shop. Highly recommended!!

Disgusting chips, obviously reheated from lunchtime. Don't go there early evening.Staff very helpful.
Lovely freshly cooked fish and chips. Selection of favourites like pies, burgers and chicken pieces. Not too greasy and a lovely fresh taste. Friendly service too.
Friendly team speedy service. Great food and lots to choose from. Often cooked to order so really fresh and tasty. Worth a visit.
