Visited for the first time a week or so after they opened and have to say the battered sausage and chips I had was absolutely lovely. Crispy chips, crispy batter on the sausage and I was cooked all they way through which other chip shops sometimes suffer with. Really nicely decorated inside and some nice tables and chairs to eat in. Price was reasonable, made better by the quality. I will definitely visit again and see if the high standards set at the beginning are still there, if they are I will give a 5 star

Drove to Hasting, saw Codfellows and stopped for a bite to eat, so glad we did. Absolutely perfect cod & chips, fish was pure white, crispy batter. The chips were crunchy and salted to perfection. I also asked for directions and the owner was kind, and gave me a quicker way home.

very good fish and chips. Try the haddock-you won't be dissapointed!
Cod and haddock well cooked. Need a greater choice of smaller portions. Free bottle of coke a nice touch.
