Fantastic breakfast! The queue for tables moved fairly quickly with good Covid-19 practices being implemented by staff. Staff were really friendly and polite. There's not many places you go these days that substitute your unwanted items in a full English, so being mushroom free and an extra rasher of bacon up I was a happy man. Perfect strong coffee to get you set for a day adventuring around in the lakes. The food was perfect with both me and my partner both being very impressed. You could have paid double and not grumbled at the food. We will definitely be visiting again next time we are around Cockermouth! Many thanks for such a great start to the morning

Great food and coffee for a reasonable price. They've got limited tables due to Covid Restrictions. But there's very rarely a queue. It's great for a quick coffee catch up. Their Pancakes are absolutely to die for
This place is a gem! The place itself is beautiful inside and very clean. The staff are so friendly! The main thing for us is the amount of vegan options! They aren't even on the menu some of them. GUYS you need to mark it clearly on the menu as you actually offer so many vegan options! They offer vegan cheese! Vegan sausage, full vegan breakfasts, amazing chips but then so many options. Vegan Cheese jacket potato, vegan sausage and cheese panini, avocado on toast, beans and cheese on toast. Even onion rings! There is also a vegan cake option and the coffee is lovely! Also a wide range of other food including Brie and bacon and sandwiches and jackets. I need to come here every day to try it all! Vegans...this is the place!

Met at door and asked for contact details. Table to be used was thoroughly cleaned down before we were taken to it. Our order was swiftly taken and we were told that the drinks would be served as quickly as possible. The serving staff were polite and efficient but importantly they were friendly and thoughtful. Service was quick. Can't comment on the food as it was just a scone - it was enjoyable. What was really good was the mixed fruit berry iced crush.
