Good vibe restaurant, 10 minutes walk from the busy tourist area, which is defiantly worth it. Ordered mixed grill plate and beef steak, both delicious. Friendly staff.

Perfect located family place with a good restaurant and a great manager looking after her guests. Right next to the Sesselbahn, seat lift, taking y up to the hill. From there there are some nice short and long hikes. Do not forget to taste some local Moessel wine and to go for a walk by the river and up to the castle
Be sure to book in advance as this place is usually full. The menu was all in German and the staff spoke little english so it was a bit difficult to understand what to eat, we then decided to try the potaoe soup and mixed grill and we were not disappointed as the food were very good. The portions are huge and the house wine was divine! The place is up a hill road a little bit out from the centre. Prices are also very good. All the covid measures were followed in this place so we felt safe as well.
Good place to stay, I loved the breakfast. The room was good, we made good use of the beds, because we were very tired when we came in. Four stars, because the windows could be bigger and the beds could be more comfortable. But overall a good experience. And thumbs up for excellent service!
Good food, local wines, great personell, need reservations! Willi be back!
Best in town! If you wanna have a great meal with great service - you have to visit Onkel Willi! Skip the tourist traps and go here!
Had an excellent dinner here, including the most perfectly cooked bit of pork from a happy Susländer pig. A bit away from the tourist-crammed town centre, and looked to be a favourite with the locals. Very friendly staff.
This restaurant was one of a half dozen recommendations from the owner/manager of our hotel in Cochem. Just outside of the hub of tourist activity it is a quieter and more relaxed place to enjoy a meal. The service was good, even providing a English version of the menu on request. The food was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. It was one of our best meals while visiting Germany. Highly recommended.
