We heard Maryland is well known for their crab cakes, and that’s what we were looking for. So happy we found this place, even though they still don’t have inside dine in allowed, they sat us on a high top at the patio, under the heater (highly appreciated it), and offered us to check the menus on our phones. Our appetizers: Crab & Shrimp Fritters, and Fried Calamari... absolutely delicious, crispy, meaty, and seasoned to perfection. Main course to share: Jumbo Blue Crab Crab Cakes served with fries and sautéed spinach... they tasted so fresh, and you could feel the chunks of real crab on every bite. Best crab cakes we’ve ever tried. Thank you so much Eric for your hospitality and great service. The white chocolate bread pudding at the end with vanilla ice cream was the perfect way to finish our dinner. Thank you guys

Loved this place on Pier 39. We asked the waitress for what the best. Several things were ordered but whats still remaining on my mind is still the shellfish platter. And the garlic bread.
Awful customer service!!! I reserved a table for 2pm, we were there right at the time and the table was not ready!? they asked us to stand outside in the cold for 10 minutes to get the table ready.Once we get it, it was a tall table we couldn’t use(my mom is old and can’t use tall chairs)these’s nowhere in the site to choose your table in the site when you’re making your table reservation, due to this issue we waited for another hour to get a short table outside. At last they give us a table with no heater beside. I ate my sandwich with my hats on It took half an hour to bring paper napkins!!!Asking 3 times from 3 different waiters. I complained and the waiter offered me one free starter to not be upset which they don’t bring it was the worst customer experience I’ve ever had.
I want to start off by saying that I love Coastal Flats and frequent it with my family. This review is strictly on the service that we received while dining there yesterday. We made an outside seating reservation for 12:30 and were promptly greeted upon our arrival. Then it took about 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table. The waitress brought waters and walked away without asking if we wanted to order any other drinks/appetizers or our meals. She came back in a long bit and took our order and we noticed that she didn't write down what we told her (there were 3 of us, 2 of whom used to be waiters). Sure enough, she came back in another 10 minutes and asked one of us to repeat what she ordered since she forgot. No bread was offered to us and we had to request it at that time. After the food arrived, the waitress never came back to check on whether we were happy with the food or whether we wanted any more drinks. She came back when we were finished eating and we requested the check. The check was brought to us promptly but the waitress didn't stick around to say \thank you for dining with us\ or anything of the sort. She did mumble something into her face mask as she walked away. All in all, the food was delicious as always but the service was terribly poor and unbecoming of a place as nice as Coastal Flats.
