It's just okay. I went here to get basics when I arrived in Penzance and it was very basic. I could only get bread, milk, jam and teabags. They didn't have any coffee or loo rolls, neither did they have anything to cook a meal with. My advice is to stop off at the large Sainsbury's as you come into Penzance and stock up (not possible if you've travelled by train). Otherwise bring stuff with you and go to the large supermarket on your first morning.

Mid sized store, certainly more stock and range than a convenience store. This store has been modernised recently and has the benefit of three self service checkouts in addition to the staffed checkouts. There were plenty of staff available, and the store was neat and well organised. Aisles are a bit cramped, but otherwise it's fully accessible. There is a free ATM just inside the entrance too.
Good old coop the staff are very good they have well priced stuff and if you have a coop card you can save a lot of mony

Great co-op shop very friendly staff and helpful very clean and has a huge range of foods very handy also there is a taxi phone freephone available as well.
