Great little Co-op in the shopping high street - Connaught Ave. Good choice for the size of the shop and friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced too

Doesn't have a big enough selection
Very handy little supermarket, particularly helpful for locals A good range of supermarket stuff, although most items are usually a bit higher priced than bigger stores in other towns. Coop competes with Sainsbury's local (just along the road). Once in a while, gangways get blocked by trolley loads of new stock, positioned between teams of imported Coop executives that descend in high numbers to replenish shelves and chat to each other. They can suddenly have fun raising established prices but also often reduce anything where use-by dates might cause concern. Friendly staff. Turn left at the entrance to discover an adjacent post office instead of the vegetables.
Good local store. Sells most of what you need, handy if you don't want to travel to far. Nice polite staff
