Just passing through, we stopped to try this place. Great food and service. We had a scotch while waiting for a table, and the. Tried the venison and lamb. Both were very good.
Good atmosphere, tasty food, fresh products, well balanced menu with options that are not commonly available and make the whole experience special. Portions are very generous, kids menu and gluten-free dishes available

Ive just spent two lovely days in Tomintoul with my lovely wife. And was recommended the clock house restaurant. And oh my god the food was fantastic and the friendly warm reception and service was next to none. I know that the next time I'm up that way I'll be paying them a visit again. We'll worth a visit for any one who like fine dining.
