Takeaway hot chocolates are the perfect accompaniment for a winters walk. For something savoury, the sausage rolls are AMAZING and well worth a try! For something sweet, the short bread melts in your mouth. For the chocoholics you can dip them in melted chocolate. Oh, and let's not forget the tiffin and brownies which are lush! Great and friendly service. Well worth stopping by! Thank you! Xxxx

Really friendly and the food is great (the custard slices are amazing). Pro tip: it can be busy, though, so booking a table in advance is a Good Idea.

Went earlier today for some sandwiches, quick service and the turkey butties were huge with cranberry stuffing and gravy. Love it, will be back!

Popped in for a quick bite. Partner ordered extras with his breakfast but didn't get them, I got salmon and bits were brown and slimy. Staff were friendly but super super busy so couldn't ask for any extras. Ended up with cups of tea and no sugar. We waited forever for our plates to be cleared and wanted dessert but after 20 minutes of not being able to get a waiter we got cakes to go. Slightly disappointed, food wasn't good enough to warrant the wait and probably will only go back again for scones/cake.

Basically, I wouldn't bother, especially if you want a meal within a time limit (as I was, for an hour's lunch break). However the popularity of the place, particularly with people of \a certain age\ (as I am) may belie this initial judgement - though I wasn't given the opportunity to find out. On arriving, I asked at the counter for a menu, but was advised to sit down and some one would come to serve me..... but that's as far as I got. After waiting for just over 12 minutes, without any attention whatsoever (even a menu being brought), I left. My lunch hour is too valuable, and at the rate of service, I probably wouldn't have finished any food that had been brought before it was time to go.
