Lovely small country park, popular with dog walkers and children
like
Abundance of wildlife you can hear, they're well hidden in the trees. But if you can get a bench, you may just be surprised with what appears to feed. As there are feeding tables right in the first car park, we saw quite a bit whilst taking a seat.
Lovely and quiet walk around the woods. There were plenty of picnic tables near the car park and spotted a couple whilst walking along the short trek. Parking is cheap at 1 a day. There could be better maps/sign posts around the woods as we planned to do the short pram friendly walk but ended up in some muddy parts with difficult steps. All in all though a lovely day out
Great place now a small charge for parking good dog walking.
Lovely walk, but as my husband and myself are both disabled (walking) we found the lack of benches to just sit down for a few minutes. As you got going further up and around the paths.
