Attenshun.... Don't dare arrive before 1pm, nowhere to park if you do... Follow instructions carefully to avoid scolding.... Also watch out for the dog poo around the site... The one way system is ludicrous as you can't turn right back into the entrance... And the wardens drive their ride on lawnmower round and round and round and round and round and round.. So many beautiful sites in the area means you can avoid this one.

Stayed a few nights in the summer of 2019 and the weather was really good. Flat pitch for the caravan, tv reception, internet, and mobile signal are all fine. The location is close to the river Ribble which runs alongside the site and is accessed via the country park. Great place to walk the dogs. Edisford bridge pub a few minutes walk away and you can get there by following the river upstream to the bridge. Clitheroe castle is lovely and a climb up to the highest point shows why it was located there demonstrating panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Local shops in Clitheroes are brilliant and a very enjoyable day can spent browsing, shopping, eating and drinking in the many venues on offer. Skipton and Grassington are just along the A59 and a delight to visit especially on market days All in all a grand site and town well worth a visit

Love this site! Near the river, lovely walks. Expensive though 36 . Only facilities open are the chemical waste, fresh water and waste water .
