My Favourite Fish & Chips shop in Bristol. I definitely buy my dinner from here 2-3 times a month. Their fish and chips are always nicely cooked and crispy. I always buy their homemade tartar sauce as an extra treat. They are also well priced for the quality they offer.

Bristol has distinct lack of good chippies. I was encouraged by this one, first three times chips and fish all of high standard. Went early on tuesday evening and was disappointed though. I hate it when chips are old. The fish was still good but was very small. For best part of a tenner big let down. So will prob use again if a busy friday night because know will be fresh... but if it is quiet... they've shown me they let their standards slip.

My favourite fish and chip shop by far in Bristol. It might be a bit more than a average chippy, but the chips are always well cooked and crispy. Never been disappointed. Apart from sometimes the length of the queue, but guess thats a good sign. :)

Last week my toddler and husband arrived home (5mins away) with OLD, cold inedible chips. We called the Clifton bar and was advised a manager would call us the next day. The next day the manager called my husband to say they had checked CCTV and the chips weren't old. We were shocked at their way of dealing with a complaint from regular customers. An apology or offer of a refund could have solved this but to go to the lengths of disputing this with a customer. Very disappointing. We will take our business to Chandos fish bar or some of the local business on Gloucester Road. Shame on them.

Busy fish and chips bat close by the suspension bridge. This does not mean it is a bad quality touristic hotspot. This is a proper Fisk bar with good quality fish, fries and a variety of different menu items to choose from. Staff is friendly and they have to go as well.
