I booked to hold my 70th Birthday at this beautiful venue and paid a deposit of 1750. Margarita personally reassured us that she would refund it if we had to cancel due to COVID.Due to the lockdown rules, which Walton Castle were prepared to ignore! We sent a cancellation confirmation on 10th October 2020. I was told that it was in the hands of the insurers and have sent and called to ask when it will be paid.I was devastated when I received this latest reply yesterday.Please read. Wendy I am in the hands of the insurers May I point out you are one of 60 clients who are in this situation and whom I’ve accommodated iver the next 2 years May I take also this opportunity of reminding you that our Terms and Conditions clearly state that deposits are non refundable I do not appreciate being bullied so - either wait for the insurers - rebook in the future Best M We are pensioners and deeply hurt to be classed as bullies by simply asking when we will receive what is a huge amount of money for us which we urgently need . BITTERLY DISAPPOINTED

Absolutely LOVE Walton Castle. We had our wedding here this July and it was amazing. The venue itself is so unique and amazing but it also has stunning grounds and views of the coast and surrounding landscape. The sunset was spectacular on the night. The staff at Walton are amazing. Tracey (unfortunately does not work there anymore) is a wonderful coordinator. She was so helpful and made things so easy, a big thank you to you. Neil the groundskeeper worked on our bar for the evening and was brilliant. Everyone loved him and I would definitely recommend using him on your day. Really lovely and helpful guy. The venue itself is great. You hire it for the whole weekend and have full access of the whole property. It easily slept our 17 guests. You have access to a massive kitchen and living room. It's beautifully kept and very clean. Perfectly designed for a wedding. So happy we got married here :)
It's a beautiful castle
Walton Castle is very unique and well run wedding venue. I had a chance to photograph wedding there and I love it. The event team at the castle is very friendly, professional and passionate about their job. The views from the castle are incredible and it's probably the only castle in the whole of South West that you can exclusively hire for your wedding/event.
