We were eagerly awaiting the smells of fresh strawberries and strawberry donuts bursting with flavor, but instead we arrived to an onslaught of paint thinner and concrete sealer blowing in the wind. The strawberries were plentiful, plump and delicious. We did come in contact with a man who was said to know the location of “the big juicy”, we followed suit and found multiple big juicy strawberries. There were sunflowers aplenty and we picked a few winners. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and very knowledgeable. A bring the whole family. Please be aware professional photography is not allowed. If you want to take multiple Instagram photos and not purchase anything I suggest you stay home and use a free zoom background instead. Overall an amazing day!! Do note, that all the roads are dirt roads and it will be a long days journey into night to exit.

When you enter the farm you are greeted by someone who will tell u where to go. There’s a little store full of jams and pumpkin butter and other things. When I went ( 2-14-21) there was strawberry picking! So many strawberries !. I’m surprised there was so many because there was a lot of people there picking them. Don’t forget the sunflowers! I loved finding the ones I wanted and picking them. If you want to know the prices of the strawberries and flowers. 2 a flower and 4 a pound of strawberries!.
Great place to visit. We recently went to watch an outdoor movie event. It was a great atmosphere. The weather was nice. They had food trucks and concessions. We even bought a smore kit and roasted marshmallows. Always a great experience at Southern Hills.
Visited January 30, 2021 for the strawberry picking event. Unfortunately all the strawberries were picked within an hour of opening that morning. However, I will not say it was a wasted trip. They have sooo many other activities! There's a free playground for the kids, a small amusement area for a reasonable fee to play all day, several photo ops, sunflower picking, marshmallow roasting, food trucks and much more depending on the season. Soon there will be peaches and blueberries to pick. Staff was all very friendly and helpful and wore masks the entire time. The restrooms were extremely clean and sanitized, and I actually thought they were another sight to see. Merchandise in store was priced as you would expect from an attraction. The only thing I didn't like was some clothes were sized European, but they had a US comparable size guide posted. The candles all smelled AMAZING! We'll DEFINITELY be returning soon
Amazing experience here! Definitely a must see when you are visiting or live in the Orlando area. Scenery is amazing, wonderful for a weekend gateway and spend a different time with your family.
