Impressive church, my wife prefered it to the cathedral. Lovely crypt and a very helpful chap chatted to us for ages about the place. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful place! You can go to a belvedere to see it from a higher place and enjoy it even more. It is great that not all romanic churches were transformed into Gothic! The inside of the church was disappointing, it is simply painted. The crypt is interesting.

This looks like a remarkable restoration, and I only wish I had more time to explore, especially the crypt, which appeared to be open. For a 12th century restoration, the works appear to be sensitive and the site feels very fresh. Situated in the historic quarter, this is a worthy and quiet alternative if the Cathedral is a touch busy.
