Nice atmosphere and location in Bath centre. Food and service were good but would expect better for the price point. Overall I would recommend the place.

Great food with friendly and attentive service. It is rather expensive, the only reason I would not venture to 5 stars. Recommended for a special occasion
Food is really decent. Crab starter with grapefruit and pear was really delicate but rich In crab flavour and the salmon rillettes was nicely balanced so you could taste the salmon properly and it was offset well by the cucumber three ways. Chicken and mushroom risotto was a rich version with additional truffle and cream but still balanced and the duck was pink with a great duck sauce and fondant . Puds - go for the pannacotta . They seem to treat all the expensive ingredients with respect and don’t obscure any of the flavours just enhance them
The best Sunday roast EVER. Came here for my partners birthday and highly recommend. Absolutely delicious meals and great size portions. It's not like the 'art on a plate' type of restaurants where you come out starving, but is the same level of quality.
A five star rating and what I enjoy most. Understated, friendly with absolutely superb food. No flashy Michlin rating but real quality. Make this your first COVID return to sanity and know that with the high bar of Bath restaurants you don't need to look further.
