Clarks Auction Rooms

Brilliant Auction House , very professional team , wasted no time and arranged packing and shipping of my item at a very reasonable cost. Using UPS it was delivered within days. Unlike some other auction houses I have used who unfortunately appear to cash in on a shipping service these guys do not , I fully recommend them and they are a firm favourite for me to use again.

Paul and Emma of Clarks Auction Rooms have been a pleasure to deal with, and I would recommend the firm strongly. When my dad passed away and I needed their help to make sure some nice pieces from his house found their way to new homes, they were empathetic and warm, knowledgeable, and super efficient. A first rate service.

You stated I've never bought from you... I left 1 star because i have bought from you... My husband and i bought from you on our joint account a (as you described) vintage rolex a telephone call for a condition report you verified it was all original when we received it it had a cheap movement and not a rolex movement and the only thing that was rolex was the word on the dial we phone to sort this matter only to be hurled abuse down the phone trying to tell my husband who is a master watch maker / restorer he didnt know anything about watches... We have discussed this before on the reviews.. And before you reply with.. My husband was abusive. You know and i know he wasnt... He was cross but not abusive i sought advice from a very reputable auction house who advised us to go to trading standards for you selling fake items but lucky for you i couldnt be bothered so reply with any feeble excuse you can think up thats fine ive read other poor reviews and we are not the only ones to receive poor service shame for you really as we spend thousands each month at auction and thought we had found another auction we were going to regularly buy from but all i can say to others thinking of buying from here is... If like us you live miles away and cant view dont buy from here as the phone reviews are all lies and the staff are absolute vile hooligans

The sign of a good auction house is the professional way they handle problems. I bought several items at a recent auction following condition reports. Unfortunately they missed a crack in a vase. I sent photos and had a quick response asking me to send it back. Within days I had an apology and a full refund. I would certainly recommend any one buying ceramics remotely like I did to use Paul Clarks Auction Rooms. Very professional

An excellent auction house. I have purchased very many times at the auction house. I attended the first auction. The payments were made using my bank card and also by cash. You can also buy hot drinks, coffee or tea. They have an excellent website and a good catalogue for 1.
