So my husband ordered a dbl Texas cheeseburger, with a fried egg,bbq sauce, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, bacon, mayo,on triple Texas toast with hot chips & ranch today. Wow! He said it was delicious. I got smothered bourbon chicken over rice with Pintos and Hawaiian salad. Yes it was delicious. We definitely couldn't eat it all and brought food home with us.

We brought the entire volleyball team from Southern Virginia University and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast and lunch. The staff could not have been nicer and the prices were incredibly fair.

The cowboy chicken is really great. When it's on special it includes two sides AND drink which makes for a cheap lunch date while the kids are at school.

I love their food there the food is delicious! And I've never had a problem with a waitress until the last time I was there. My bill was 7.25 and I gave her a 20 and she brought me back 12 and said she didn't have any change and it was a lot of trouble to get change. So she didn't bring me my 0.75 and when I asked her about it she said oh well I just didn't have any change and it's just a lot of trouble but if you want me to I'll go get it and I said yes I do because that's not like it's a nickel or a dime that's almost a dollar now if she wanted to consider that part of her tip that's okay, and she did the same thing to my sister-in-law who was with me and I think her change back was like 12.77 or something like that and so she just brought her back her bills but not the 77 cents. She said the same thing to her and my sister-in-law's like 92 so she just didn't say anything about it. The waitress was the sweet as she could be and and very attentive but I didn't think that was good customer service to do like that to just take for granted that you didn't want your change back.

CJ's Olde Towne Restaurant is the place to eat. If arriving during peak, lunch hours expect a short wait time for seating and food arrival. The food is fantastic here - one can order breakfast all day! Salads are HUGE and wonderful. Stop in when visiting Asheboro, NC. CJ's is only hop skip and jump from Fayetteville St. And Inerstate 73/74. Enjoy!
