I booked to go to this place as the reviews seemed good. It's about 10 miles from my house, so not too far, although not particularly close. When we arrived, we were told that due to supply issues there were literally only 3 things available on the menu, 2 of which were vegetarian options. So we decided not to order food. The main issue, is that I would have appreciated a call to advise, so we could have gone somewhere else. I will try it again, and will update accordingly

Nice food and beer pub. Atmospheric location with subdued lighting great selection of ale,larger,gin and whiskey. Lot of tables both up and down stairs. Staff knowledgeable and friendly.

Lovely time during these times of covid, 1st class service from arrival. Magnificent food, brilliant service throughout. Can't fault the place.

Dog friendly. Awesome looking bar, interiors are on point, fab decor, worth a visit just for a butchers alone. Average Sunday roast dinner, roasties are actually slightly roasted potatoes. Great gaff though! Worth a visit for one or two.
