Just want to balance out some of the 1-star comments here from folks that use this as a forum to vent. Having lived in several Canadian cities, Richmond Hill runs a fairly tight ship as far as I've seen.

The City is unable to plan road work in an efficient manner. We had two months off from school and this road should have been paved and fixed. Now, kids and parents suffering due to negligence of The City. It’s been more then three weeks and road is left like this. See attached pic. This is Stave Cres., front of Silverpines Public School.

It was closed due to Covid...not sure why it couldn't be open for bill payments...usually I would rate them 5 stars...good people

Many parks, trails, nature walk areas in Richmond Hill have dog poo and waste which gets in kids feet and very hard to walk. There are signs everywhere but people keep dogs roaming free and do not remove their waste. The city should work on new bylaws and fine implementation.
