City of Norwich School

Probably the best public school in Norwich. Great staff, great environment, may need a push in the cantine and resources (such as stationary equipment) departments.

I’ve been in CNS since Year 7 and the school and staff are amazing. There are minor downsides, like students picking fights on each other and the amount of students which were expelled from others school, coming here, and just ruining our ‘fun’. There is a big problem I would like to report though, and that is the food. The quality of the food isn’t bad, it’s just the prices and the queue - A 10 INCH PANINI COSTS 1.90!!! A CUPCAKE COSTS 1.25!!! Not only that, but teachers always keep us late before break and lunch (where we can get food) and therefore, we have to wait for longer and we sometimes don’t get food. I understand that sometimes work can be unfinished before the end of the lesson, but some of us might be starving! Teachers also find it ok to keep the whole class in after maybe 2 or 5 people mess around. Overall, the school is very good but if you don’t get a high income then your children might miss out on potential music lessons (which are 80) and other stuff.
