The menu was very small, which was ok, made it easier to choose. Very budget friendly, the drinks were small but tasty and the food was cooked quickly and tasty.

Well if you have ever been to City Island’s fried seafood spots, you know exactly what this is! BUT WAY BETTER! And the people are WAY NICER. The place is fairly new, but their fried shrimp and fish are very good. The crsipy coating is just right, and actually has FLAVOR! Took some home to my 14year old who doesnt generally eat seafood, and the next day he asked me where it was from. “CITY ISLAND IN THE CITY” I said. He replied, “Wow, they make pretty good food.” Believe you me, a review like that from a picky 14 year old boy is way more credible than anything I could write! Good luck CIITC! Keep up the hard work, the important things are already in place: good recipe, good staff, and good work ethic!!!! By the way. YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR THE SECRET SPECIAL SAUCE. Its a spicy tangy red sauce that goes great with almost everything they have!

Food looked good but was alot of breading with no seasoning. Just a lil bit of seasoning would had saved it.
