I'm not sure where to start with Jim but from the end of the short trial lesson that he invited me to attend, I was confident that Jim was the man that would get me through my training. And a few weeks later when I turned up I was not disappointed. The wealth of knowledge and expertise that this man has is incredible, not once did I feel unsafe on the road with him beside me. His attitude is fantastic - cool, calm and relaxed throughout it all, especially when dealing with, as Jim would say, a lead-footed \speed demon\ like myself. Despite all this I still managed to pass first time. On top of his experience and knowledge, Jim is a top notch guy with great chat and banter, and if you're lucky he might just offer to buy you a bacon bap. I would highly recommend Jim as a HGV instructor, especially as he is one of the few trainers to offer one-on-one training, so the entire week is focused on just you and getting you passed. Don't bother with the big main companies, they'll take more money, you'll get less driving time and I guarantee they don't know half of what Jim does. If you want to drive a lorry Jim is the man for you. Thank you for such an enjoyable week mate, and the confidence and knowledge to start my new career. Conor

I recommend Jim as hgv class 2 instructor. I was a bit worried it would be hard for me to get my hgv cat C because English is not my first language. But with Jim as my instructor I had no problem at all. He explains everything to the smallest detail and makes everything easy to understand. Passed my Practical and CPC tests on the first go! Could NOT ask for better instructor. Thank you Jim!!

I completed my Class 2 with Jim last month. He does his all to make sure your ready and confident for your test. His knowledge and experience is second to none and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to start HGV training.
