I’m so happy to have a City BBQ in the metro area. I used to live near multiple locations and ate there often. This location does as great as all the other locations I’ve been to. Also their online ordering and curbside pickup is extremely efficient. Get the brisket, you won’t be sorry!

I order online, use curbside pickup, and have never had an issue. The city sampler is what I always order, it feeds two people well. Beef brisket is my favorite here, it's excellent. Turkey breast, pulled pork and pulled chicken are also very good. The garlic bread is a little dry and could use a little more butter and garlic. The baked beans at this location are my favorite in all of Oakland County. Likewise with the potato salad!
Ribs were okay, n by okay I mean meh... I try to give places a couple tries, before I completely write them off... However, I have absolutely no desire to ever go back there. The brisket was soooooo dry! Will be giving the rest of that to my dog. The mac n cheese don't get me started... n this is coming from a girl, who can will eat mac out of a box. It tasted like water. No flavor, and barely any cheese. Just horrible! Not to mention when I was waiting on my order, the guy cutting the brisket cut off a piece and gave it to who seemed to be the manager or owner, w/ her bare hands, shoved it in her mouth n ate it... The only good thing was the girl, who took my order she was nice. Sorry, but I won't be back.
With Summer closed and in the fall temperatures, who says you can't have BBQ. I didn't know this place was here when I was looking for lunch on my break. Glad I found it! Ordered what seemed like a feast for a lunch lol I have brisket, potato salad, side salad and cornbread. All so very tasty. Cornbread might have been slightly dry but 30 seconds in the microwave and it was good! Brisket was nicely smoked, very tender and sandwiched between 2 pieces of sub style garlic bread. Sweet Tea I ordered to wash it down was done right! I will be sure to order again in the near future. So good I ordered some pulled pork by the pound to take home for some lunches the next couple days. Really good BBQ, true smoked meats with what seems to be hickory. Fast service ordered for pick up, and good price too. There is a lot of places to order food from in this area, but I'm not planning on ordering some vegan organic stuff, give me some BBQ!
Had a half slab of ribs, baked beans and peach cobbler. Ribs were perfect. Beans were some of the best I've had, on a while. Now the peach cobbler was awesome. I do a lot of baking and I make a good cobbler myself. Honestly if this cobbler was prepared by me. Id be proud of it.
