Comrade Handmade

Seems like it's usually a great place so we came here to eat but unfortunately there was not a great selection of food at the moment. Also the toilets are closed which was very inconvenient for us so we had to go elsewhere.

Went to cafe today. Asked for hallumi salad got sandwich and salad. Anyway sandwich was OK, but salad another story. It was drowning in salad dressing. Literally every item was covered in it. So completely covered all the natural flavours with a vile strong dressing. If you want to taste your salad make sure you ask for dressing in a separate pot. Left all my salad. What a waste.

Cafe is great, always a good selection of coffee, tea and cakes - usually at least one gluten free cake option! The craft shop itself is full of beautiful things to satisfy any magpie, and I always make a pilgrimage here when I'm in Ciren.

Great exhibituin lineup. The cafe has a great feeling high up overlooking the shop below. Quality designer maker options for sale in the shop.
