Cinnamon Tree Indian Restaurant

My local restaurant wouldn’t deliver tonight but Cinnamon Tree Restaurant did, despite the snow and being 3.5 miles away. The food was delicious too. Thank you

Ordered a meal for collection last Friday. The butter chicken had a weird layer of what I think was cream on top, wasn't particularly warm (not sure if they are meant to come like that, but it was odd. Not had it that way before, would expect it to come prepared by the restaurant.) Also had tandoori chicken which I found what looked like a large metal staple (photo attached) Have reached out to restaurant for comment but no response. Overall pretty poor I'd say.

Ordered takeaway at 6.20pm. Food eventually turned up at 10pm after being told it was on the way twice. Food was stone cold and the order was wrong. Been in this restaurant lots of time and has always been brilliant but the take away delivery service is clearly shocking. Will never use again. Didn't even deserve the one star I had to leave.

Booked a table at 20.00, turned up no table booked. They were stupidly busy, running late, one persons main came out before their starter!! Very noisy, understaffed and overwhelmed. Told the gaffer my food was too salty...\ I cant give you any more off as you're getting 50%off\. Used to be the best Indian when Ali ran it, he is conspicuous by his absence. I won't bother going back. Staff were far too busy, running around like headless chickens. It's a shame, as I now have to find an alternative.

Having tried many Indian restaurants, this has been amongst the best for many years. Recommend.
