Pretty good pork cutlet but nothing too special in my opinion. Maybe something was lost in translation but we were turned away the first time only to come back and be let in a minute later. To be fair they were in a rush to close as it was late.

This is located in an underground area of restaurants right in Dotonbori. You will recognize this place because it has a statue of a pig in front of the shop. The service was pretty all right as they were quick and efficient. They do have an English menu and accept credit cards. They are a chain from Nagoya, which is famous for the miso. I recommend ordering the half/half so you have two styles of katsu, at a very reasonable price. Both were very delicious.
I usually don’t ever order katsu but this was recommended as Osaka and Nagoya’s speciality. The sauce is made from red miso but isn’t overpowering. What I loved most was it’s efficiency, the juiciness and fattiness of the pork cutlet.
If you're in Osaka or Nagoya this is a must try. Most amazing fried pork chop I've ever had and the miso sauce brings everything together perfectly.

自分は名古屋人(と言いつつ愛知県瀬戸市)なのですが、地元ではわざわざ矢場とんには行かず… しかしなぜか出張で大阪に行った時にはこちらにたまに寄ります。 名古屋の店が大阪にまで出店しているなんて嬉しい！そしてやっぱりここの味噌カツはうまい！
