My mom’s must eat unagi in Tokyo. I would like to recommend this unagi place to everyone to try. It’s located at underground next to sushi Jiro in Ginza. I had the kabayaki course 蒲焼 For my personal preference I feel unagi on rice will be a better option. When you have a bite of the unagi with rice and the sauce will bring the best out of the fish. Super tasty. If you are in Ginza, I would recommend you to try this place out.

I probably don’t know how to appreciate this type of unagi. It’s good but also relatively expensive considering the size of the unagi. I’d stick to the basic ones. Staff could speak English well.
Good but probably not worth the price. It is very expensive. The food was generally good, but the unagi wasn’t that much different from another good eel that you can get in places much cheaper. The place is in the basement which can be tricky to find.
Unagi was really good! The restaurant has a long history of serving unagi and the owner is currently 90 years old and extremely healthy. The health benefits of consuming unagi!
I am not a huge fan of unagi, but this place got me to really enjoy it! The staff taught us very new way of eating it: with wasabi and salt! The starter was amazing, too! Never thought unagi could have so many flavours to it by cooking it differently. A pricey place, mind you!
