It's been 7 years since I ate here. Come back to find a younger man running it? and There was a black hair in the fish-my hair is not black, it's red. I had only eaten half the fish. The chips were good, but finding that hair, I couldn't eat the rest. Good price though, but..won't be eating here again. And I made a special trip from Barnsley as it was the closure of a trip come full circle.

The best, just make sure you get there homemade mushy peas
Just had a portion of fish and chips with some curry sauce and I have to say its one of the best ive had in a while. The fish was cooked to perfection and freshly cooked too. I would recumend you try here its really nice and the owners are nice and polite too.
Amazing food
Delicious fish and chips. My partner loves the curry sauce. Think I'm going to try the mini spring rolls next time.
