I couldn't recommend Katherine enough. I am currently receiving treatment for on ongoing problem with my shoulder/neck due to working from home. I first visited Katherine in 2018 and after 3-4 sessions, I didn't have to visit again for 2 years. The longest I have ever gone between appointments!

I have suffered from ongoing neck and lower back pain for many years as a result of various accidents. Over those years I have seen both chiropractors and physiotherapists with limited good results but have never been completely pain free. A friend recommended Katherine Terry very highly so I felt optimistic when making my initial appointment. When I first met Katherine I was in immense pain with my neck and shoulders and had very limited movement when turning my head. My lower back was quite immobile although less painful than my neck. After several sessions the pain in both areas had improved significantly and I had considerably more movement in my neck and lower back. Katherine gave me targeted exercises to do in between treatments which helped to ease the pain and increase movement. I now visit Katherine monthly for maintenance and prevention. I will always have ongoing issues with my back and neck but for the first time in years I am completely pain free at times which I never thought I would achieve. Katherine has identified the triggers that can cause a pain flare up which has been really helpful. Throughout my treatment with Katherine she has been professional and knowledgeable. She is also very friendly and approachable, and I have always felt very comfortable during my treatments. I thoroughly recommend Katherine for anyone suffering pain and discomfort.
As a bell ringer I was experiencing pain and stiffness in my shoulders and upper arms and I visited Michelle at Hands On Care on my wife's recommendation. After a question and answer session and examination she explained what was happening and demonstrated some simple exercises for me to do. She also worked on my back and neck and after 3 appointments I had much more free movement in my arms. A surprise result was also being able to look round properly at road junctions when I turned my head.
I would happily recommend Katherine to anyone. After seeing her on and off over the years for various back and shoulder problems due to a manual job, I found her treatments more beneficial than other chiropractors/physiotherapists that I had previously seen. She has also given me good practical advice of things I can do at home to look after my back.
I've been visiting Michelle at Hands on Care, Christchurch for over a year now, as and when I feel the need to keep on top of my neck and shoulder stiffness which contributes to my migraines. I can always feel the difference afterwards. Michelle really listens to your symptoms and has also suggested many helpful things to try at home alongside osteopathy to further improve my health and general well-being, but not at all in a pushy way which I have come across elsewhere. I would not hesitate to recommend Hands on Care, as having tried other therapies, including acupuncture and chiropractic, I have felt much more benefit from osteopathy here.
