Two of my kids go to this school and we all love it! I have never seen a group of such diverse (in every sense of the word) kids be so accepting of each others differences. This is fostered there. They also teach these middle schoolers to be individuals. They focus on the whole person, not just their learning which encourages the kids to WANT to learn!

I have a son currently in school at McAuliffe and one that graduated from there and we couldn’t be happier! Great teachers and staff that really care about the students, an interesting and innovative curriculum, and a warm, welcoming community. Highly recommend this school!

My family's experience at McAuliffe Charter has been wonderful! The staff pay equal attention to children's academic and emotional growth and understand how difficult middle school can be for kids. Their curriculum is based on the common core but they have students apply it to real world problems. The community is full of nice kids and engaged parents. My high schooler was totally prepared when he made the transition to high school. I can't say enough positive things!

My child is in 7th grade and thus far has had a very positive experience. This school is not for everyone; it really is geared towards experiential learners but for us, that is a good thing. I also feel that this school hones in on kids with leadership potential. Public speaking, organization of thought, active listening, and debate are skills that are reinforced with every unit. There is also a very strong guidance and student culture team that have proven themselves invaluable reasources to our family.

Were it not for this school, we would still be homeschooling my middle schooler. Public schools had failed him, but due to the unique format of McAuliffe Charter, he's not just getting through school, but he's thriving. The whole place is designed to be incredibly inclusive, meaning kids who are on IEPs don't stand out the way they do in traditional public schools. My experiences with communication with the school have been nothing short of wonderful. This school came highly recommended to us and I have to say, I'm not disappointed. I wish I'd known about this school when my daughter was in middle school, and I'm excited for my two younger kids to have a chance to go here!
