This bookshop is just fantastic. They have a great range of books, the staff are very knowledgeable & always happy to recommend titles. The best bit is that they are happy to order in any title that you're after & it'll be in within a couple of days! Worth paying the full price for books (rather than using the big 'A') to receive service like this.

Brilliant service. If they haven't got what you want in stock they will try to get it for you. They obtained the book I wanted within 24hrs, during Christmas week!
very quick turnaround, ordered some books on monday and delivered by wednesday. they weren't best sellers or common books by any means. books arrived in great condition, no marks or damaged edges. will be using them from now on instead of any national chain.
Chorlton bookshop is truly excellent. The selection is good and the staff are very knowledgeable. If they don't have what you want in stock they'll order it for you no problem. They have a beautiful selection of cards as well, so they're basically a one stop shop for presents for any book lovers in your life. One of my favourite stores for sure!
