Having previously visited other bicycle retailers, we thought we’d give Buy a Bike a go, as the reviews online looked great. Adrian (apologies if I’m spelling that wrong) was clearly very knowledgeable, and was very enthusiastic! If I’m honest, he may not have taken on board our comments of “we know nothing about bikes, we’re just starting out, having not rode one for many years”, and so when he launched into all the technicalities of the bikes, I think some of what he said went over our heads. But we heard enough to really help narrow down our search. And to be fair, when we did question some of what he said, he did slow things down and re-explained his point. (Definitely not a negative!! His passion was clearly there, and he probably had to dumb things down for us more than he was used to!) Adrian was very polite, quite patient, and allowed us the time to ride around in the area behind the shop to test the bikes. He also opened up two boxes from a delivery they’d just received in order to help find us the right size bike. Really pleased with the overall buying process. They didn’t let us take the bikes there and then, as they wanted to run them through the workshop (which I thought was actually really good), so we collected at the weekend. We were told to bring them back 6-8 weeks later for a free service. And we were given advice on choosing helmets, as well as some of the basics of bike care (we really are beginners!) Thanks again! :)

Purchased a bike (remotely) through my C2W scheme. A pleasure to deal with from start to finish, fantastic communication & delivery of a pristine, well packaged bike was exceptionally fast. Couldn't be happier with the service I've received. Answered a few questions after delivery very quickly too so I'm pretty confident their aftersales would match the sales process if necessary.

By far the friendliest bike shop I've been to so far. The staff have so much knowledge and are more than happy to help. They answered all my questions no matter how silly. I only went in with my partner to pick up his new bike and I knew I wanted one eventually however I didn't expect to leave with one today but I did. They helped me figure out what size I needed and found the perfect bike at a great price so I couldn't have passed this up. Cannot fault these guys at all. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service. Looking forward to picking it up tomorrow and will definitely be returning for all my future bike needs

Absolutely Awesome shop. The staff are really friendly, helpful and know their stuff. I have been road cycling for years at a fairly decent level and would recommend Buyabike to anyone, whether it be for a bike purchase, spares or just advice. This shop caters for all types of cyclist at all levels and standards so if your starting out or an experienced rider, give them a try. They go the extra mile to help you out, and I especially want to say a big thanks to the guy that sorted me a spoke key for a hard to find Campagnolo size spoke nipple - My wheel is back true and on the bike!
