My wife’s cremation in Bristol was made so much easier by the kindness of Livesey’s Funeral Directors of Chorley. In particular Nicola and Rob , who provided the streaming on line for the service. Thank you for your kind gift. Bob Smith

Terrible firm. My 98 yo MiL died yesterday and Liveseys picked up her body from the care home without consulting my husband! As OH is vulnerable and her other son is in South Africa we had already decided on a Simple Cremation with her ashes to be kept until we can have a family send off, next year, hopefully. We had already more or less arranged it all with 'Simple Cremations' Livesey's refused to do this for us and insisted they charge us for services that were unnecessary and unwanted.I was pretty appalled at this exploitation of a bereaved son and told them so. As the owner was not available to discuss this further, we were told that he would ring us back. When he eventually did, he told my husband that he had to collect her body before 6pm and he wanted nothing to do with us!! He was very nasty to my husband, who was already very upset after his beloved Mums death. We have organised with our original choice and they were absolutely appalled by this firm's nastiness. I still can't believe their utter unprofessionalism.
Absolutely the best around for service, compassion, cost and care. The staff are amazing, couldn’t have been better or asked for a better service. Chris and staff you couldn’t be any better, you were all perfect, when I suddenly lost my mum. Thank you isn’t a strong enough word.
We have buried our mum today and entrusted Liveseys to handle this.I have to give them a huge round of applause. My sisters and I could not have wished for a more professional and empathetic service.From our first visit to the actual burial they could not have done more for us. They have made such a traumatic experience so easy for us and given mum such a dignified and beautiful send off. Hats off to them all and a special thanks to Nicola who has been a diamond beginning to end xxxxx
Really pleased with Livesey's handling of my dad's funeral and particularly Chris on the day of the funeral was brilliant and so supportive.
