It was super good food, the service was quick and good. There was some waiting time, but it was not long at all, and you can use that time to already decide on your order, so you get your food as soon as you sit down. One thing to watch out for is that the biggest number of people you can go there with and sit at one table is, 3. But that's also just one table. It would be best to go with 2 or alone. It was also very busy and there was a lot of noise.

Nice little joint. Reasonably priced menu, good turnaround time, delicious food. Was a bit difficult to locate...but that's how it is with places in and around Tokyo Station.
Miso tonkatsu is a delicious treat and Yabaton is the specialist!! However tasteful, service was a little rushed due to the high traffic in the location.
If you like fry pork chop, you will like this, trust me.
懐かしいみそかつなー！It was just as good as I remembered it from living in Nagoya! More expensive than I remembered though, therefore only four stars.
Yabaton is excellent and it's a real treat to have a couple in Tokyo. The Hirekatsu is my go to dish, oodles of cabbage with soft, soft pork. Took some visitors who took home the red miso sauce home with them. Tricky to find though, it's not on the main restaurant Street of Tokyo Station, it's around the corner where it becomes a different mall.
When coming to Japan for my last visit, I had considered making an extra stop on the train from Tokyo to Osaka just to visit the Yabaton location in Nagoya which I had been to ten years ago. Luckily for me, it seems they have now expanded out to Tokyo, as I stumbled across this one while looking for Ramen Street (it's just before you get there). This place serves tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) with a special miso sauce (thicker and richer flavor than the typical miso soup flavor you may be used to) that is incredible. It's one thing you can really only get here, as anywhere else you'll have the typical tangy tonkatsu sauce. I recommend the misokatsu donburi, as I like how it flavors the rice. One of the top places to eat in Tokyo Station.
