Chiu Quon Bakery

Chiu Quon is one of the best Chinese bakeries around ...definitely in Chicago. I've traveled a lot (nationally and internationally) and had more BBQ pork buns than is probably advisable. Chiu Quon's is the best no matter where you go. San Fran, Chengdu, Beijing. NY...nothing comes close. The rest of their goods are just a tasty. They make these fat little hand made noodles with shrimp that are awesome if you get them in time (they go quick). Custom order cakes are affordable and offer something light, fresh, and different form your standard sugar bomb...with fresh fruit and a whip cream frosting. Go get you some!

Love the fresh bakery! I come in often to get the ham and cheese bun and it is tasty! Highly recommend this bakery

I walked in because I saw a lot of locals visiting there and thought it must be good. And so it was. They have so many options to choose from in dumplings , buns and moon cakes and much more.. the items are inexpensive and tasted pretty authentic. I enjoyed the sesame ball which was so soft and fluffy with crunchy sesame seeds on top and gooey sweet red beans paste inside. The best sesame ball I’ve eaten. Also enjoyed a moon cake. They have nice seating area too with fresh drinks.

Big selection. Very fresh baked goods. We got Sesame cookies, sesame balls, coconut bun, and cream bun. It got a little crowded in the store which was kind of unusual during COVID times. Perhaps if they limited the number of people in the store at one time, it would be better. Regardless, this was a fun and authentic experience buying baked goods.

Love this spot for whenever I get the hankering for some egg tarts or bread. Great family run spot for pick up. Get there early if you want all the selection!
