My pets have been registered with this practice for many years. I have always found the staff to be professional and caring individuals - from receptionists/nurses to vets. I have to comment on one vet in particular, Alison Sullivan. Alison is amazing. A few years ago, I was ready to euthanise, Spring, my cat. Alison gently advised me against that and, following her advice, Spring lived for a further eight months. Six weeks ago, Alison diagnosed my wonderful dog, Boo, with bone cancer. Boo was put on pain relief medication. Alison was always a phone call away to advise and adjust his medication. Today, Alison went far and beyond for me and Boo. She was advised that the pain relief medication was no longer effective, and that Boo was suffering. Knowing that the only option for Boo was euthanasia, Alison drove from Caln to Chippenham on my request to end Boo's suffering and support me. This wonderful lady is the best and I feel so lucky to have found her. Sadly, for Alison, she is so good that I only want her to treat my last remaining pet. I have given a 5 star review, because all of the staff at Hale are so very kind, caring and compassionate. Alison is a bonus, the icing on the cake. Maggie Grant

Wow...the service and aftercare at this vet's is utterly terrible. I appreciate that we are going through some \difficult times\ at the moment, but my dog had major surgery on her leg less than two weeks ago. I was advised to call today to speak with the surgeon but all I got was a very rude and unhelpful woman answer the phone, try and dismiss my requests for support with my dog and offered no solution to help my dog through her recovery. Unacceptable. I recommend you steer clear of this establishment. The actual veterinary staff seem competent, and compassionate, but the staff on the reception desk behave disgustingly and really need to have some customer training. As I see it, i will be not be getting the required support with my dog, which I have paid them for.
