Have always loved this pub, from great bands to gripping conversations, people are easy to speak to and ive never witnessed any trouble.. they are on top of the covid 19 requirements and the staff are respectable and helpful.. ive met some great people here and hope that the band nights will continue ASAP !! ... \\m/

Saw Last of the Lizardmen at Chinnerys.. Awesome local Band, great to have an actual mosh pit at a local venue.. 5 stars..
Sat outside (in late September) with a pleasant sea view, you could be anywhere in the world. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the stereotype \Southend drunk\ who's every sentence began with an expletive. I thought the landlord would have been on top of the situation
Absolutely LOVE chinnerys!! Extremely friendly staff you can always have a chat with from the part time bar staff Al the way up to management! Good atmosphere with good music and very reasonably priced, strong recommendation!!!
Didn't have Nightwish on the jukebox, that's the only reason I knocked a star off. They had presidents though, so winning Nice place, friendly staff, weird customers... well up my street
