I moved here from Sydney Australia. The capital of various and delicious authentic Chinese Asian cuisine. It’s been out staple dish we Aussies go out to dinner for to eat. When I came to Manchester UK I was sad to find not many Asian restaurants only Indian restaurants. But when I did find a Chinese restaurant, the food was stodgy, oily lacked in flavour and unbalanced. It was super upsetting. But I continued to look for a restaurant because Asians do know how to cook. When I came across Chinese Emperor here in my home town of Reddish south in Stockport! I was shocked and excited all at the same time! Oh my god! Finally a decent place that does amazing authentic Chinese! I couldn’t believe it. And what’s worse is that they don’t have that many reviews. Well I had to speak out and commend these guys because we need more Asian cuisine here, and no I don’t mean Indian, I mean Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese and Malaysian cuisine because it’s the best food in the world in my opinion. So here is this this place I recommend you try every thing especially the combination chow main fried rice with noodles and sweet and sour chicken. I love the dumplings too. Very authentic and the portion sizes are more than ample. Thank you for this food. You made my journey here so much more inviting with your amazing food. Highly recommended a must try!

Finally a good Chinese takeaway in Manchester! Good big portions but quality too. Delivered hot to our door. Recommended
The food has always been nice from this place, fresh and well cooked. Last time we even got a free extra meal with our order. Really recommend salt and pepper prawns. Some places do them in thick hard batter, but this is just perfection, light and crispy tempura

I was expecting a lot more in the Taste Department, Unfortunately it just didn't do it for me, The Food was OK, but no Wow Factor, bit of a let down, The Staff were very friendly, the Shop was nice and clean.
