As a sponsor of the local football club, we're flying to Manchester on a regular basis with customers. I heard a lot of good stuff about this club, that's why I asked the American Express Centurion Concierge to book a table at Chinawhite last Saturday. Despite the fact that I had a written confirmation with me as well as the name of the employee who confirmed the booking, they insisted at the entrance that we're not on the list and can't get in therefore. You can't imagine how bad I was looking at that moment in front of my customers! Thankfully we found another club where we had a good time but it was a real bad and unnecessary experience.
went to this venue a few months ago and was honestly disgusted by the experience. me and my friend got there relatively early so there was only a small queue, we were both asked if we had booked a table which we hadn't then looked up and down by the girls on the door who decided we could come in. i have read so many similar reviews saying they only let young girls in and heard the same from my friends. we had been there for around half an hour when a member of club crew/security approached me and told me the manager had asked if i'd go and sit with him at his table and asked if i was with anyone else. i told him i was with my friend and he looked her up and down and said we could both go over, which we didn't. we went and sat somewhere else and the same man came over and asked why we hasn't gone to the manager's table. me and my friend were brought over free drinks, and as i looked over to the manager's table it became very clear what was going on as he was sat there with an extremely drunk girl. it's disgusting that this goes on and i've heard many similar stories, later in the night the manager himself approached me and asked me if i had a boyfriend and he did leave me alone once i told him i did, however it is still disgusting that he is using his position to solicit girls that are under the influence. i work in a nightclub myself and that behaviour is so inappropriate, i honestly fear for any girls that find themselves in a similar situation. we left quickly and won't ever go back, stay as far away from here as you can girls.
