We've eaten Hong Kong style sweet & sour chicken street food in Hong Kong many times and Chinatown makes this exactly as if we are ordering from HK, compliments to the Chef.

We stayed at Sandy Balls Godshill and wanted a nice Chinese takeaway for Saturday night. Chinatown's food was so good we had it Sunday night too! We loved the charcoal flavour to the noodles, the chicken was perfectly cooked and was a large portion, the duck was also amazing. The food left us wanting more rather than feeling thirsty like we are used to greasy and salty, this was nothing like that... . We cannot recommend highly enough and now we are home we worry if we will be able to find something to compare as our local one doesn't come close.

So fed up that once home, the order was wrong again. Should have checked, I know. But got a plate full of battered things and not the sweet and sour Hong Kong style as ordered (and I checked the screen to make sure they'd got it right when taking the order). Really, how hard can it be?
