I have just had the old thatched roof of my beach hut replaced with a cedar shingle one and couldn’t be happier. It looks even better than I imagined it would. David is very helpful and friendly, yet professional. The roof is of very good quality and its installation was the tidiest work I’ve ever had carried out. From my first enquiry to the installation, I cannot fault the service received - easily 5 stars. Would definitely recommend Chiltern Garden Buildings.

We had a large reed thatch gazebo roof over a deep pond that was in desperate need of replacement (see before and after photos). David at Chiltern Garden Buildings was extremely helpful and knowledgeable from the outset. There was no pressure selling and David visited our house to scope out the work and explain our options. We went for a combination reed thatch as a replacement. David spent a couple days with his workers removing the old roofing and fitting the new. He and his staff were polite, courteous and extremely tidy throughout. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Chiltern Garden Buildings to anyone looking to renovate or replace their garden roofing.
His work was excellent. His communicated with me all through 7 weeks from the very first day we first spoke about the cedar Wood roof for the little beach hut in my garden. He replaced the old thatched roof. He replies emails within few hours. It was a very neat job. They tidy up all rubbish and nothing was left behind. Purchased replacement combination thatch for a Breeze House gazebo. Great service, good communication from David throughout. Called me to say when stock was in even before i'd placed an order, when I had a question about fitting the top row he explained very well and even offered to \pop over\ (from Henley to Fleet) to help install. Explanation was enough so not needed but reassuring to know the service was more than just selling the product. Very pleased withe the final result. Highly recommended.
Excellent workmanship the gazebo is beautifully made and just slots together. David spent a lot of time making sure everything fitted together properly and the thatched roof was perfect. Would recommend him completely couldn't fault the finished gazebo and David was very professional and helpful throughout. I am delighted with the gazebo.
