Great receptionist, very kind and welcoming. But the doctor, who I'm sure is a very kind person and perhaps I caught him at a bad day, was incredibly rude, judgmental and very much the opposite of the experience I received in the office before I got to meet him and talk to him. It almost felt personal. Almost. Very strange. I don't recommend, sadly, and I wish I could because the services this particular doctor's office gives are critical to my health.

My son was referred to Dr. Steinberg after suffering an ear infection leading to rupturing. Dr. Steinberg was thorough in his examination and was detailed in explaining my son’s healing progress and what to expect going forward. To be honest I was nervous going into this appointment after reading some of the reviews here but I’m happy to say we had a good experience. Looking forward to our follow up appointment in 6 weeks.
I went to see Dr Steinberg with lots of hopes as I have been suffering from recurring sores all over the inside of my mouth for the past few months. I have been steadily losing weight as I am unable to eat properly. After two months of waiting, I finally got to see him. I went into my appointment and had to wait a whole 2 hours before I was seen. When I was finally put into his room, he saw me for less than 3 minutes. He told me to avoid spicy food for 6 weeks and then come see him. When I tried to ask him questions, he put out his hand and shook mine and bid me goodbye. No medications, no advice, no tests. Nothing. What a waste of time and gas.
I seen him approx 4 yrs ago and thought he was different but was able to help. He passed me a piece of paper and told me to read it and I would know as much as he does. Really, a guy having self proclaimed he has done this for over 30 yrs and this all he knows. What fits on a 8.5x11 sheet of paper. Now after going back to see him for a letter in support of his initial diagnosis and his determining cause, he now has gone against his original diagnosis and doesn't support it. Being a veteran and looking for some honest help from the diagnosing doctor, he for a lack of better terms screwed me over. I travelled from the south Okanagan 4.5 hrs to see him because I was led to believe he would support his diagnosis. I wouldn't recommend him for anything. There are better ENT's out there that are more professional and stand behind their initial diagnosis. Thank you Sir for wasting my time and not supporting your diagnosis. And to top it off you were paid very well for this fire starter of a letter you wrote. Shame on you Sir !!!
