Felt rushed by staff even though it was 6pm and the restaurant mostly empty. After that, the staff seemed to forget about us and we struggled to get their attention to get drinks.
The food is always fantastic and the service is excellent - the balti king prawn musoori is absolutely delicious!
Food is still good. No complaints there. Service on a quiet Tuesday night is shocking. Could do better. Standards have slipped in recent years though.
First ever visit just a few weeks ago on a Saturday night, easy to book a table, (worth doing as the place was full!). Good selection of dishes on the menu , staff were very attentive and friendly. Food arrived in good time, was hot, in plentiful portions and was very tasty ... and all at a very reasonable price. Hailing from the 'home of the balti', this is high praise indeed!! as I tend to be quite picky when partaking of Indian cuisine outside of Birmingham! However, I must say I was very impressed with the Chilli Raj, and will definitely be re-visiting.. Highly recommended ..
